This was a ResidentSleeper moment yet I'm surprised how flexible Dota's customization for the arcades. With this amount of freedom and creativity, you could literally put any game if the system abides to it. Of course you can't do shit like FPS but goddamn, imagine something as big as an MMORPG inside Dota. Sky is the limit. Perhaps the new generation of RTS could literally spawn from Dota 2 Arcade mods and we loop back.

wc3 games were better because they weren't profit-driven. every one of these modern shitters is a scheme to make some money through MTX.
Sadly the reason why WC3 custom games were so much better is cause it was so much easier to create exactly what you wanted too. In Dota 2 it's sooo much more advanced and time-consuming too do so, so there is a lot less people even bothering.
